Dr. Alison Gemmill grew up in McLean. She received her education at Virginia Teach (BS 2008) and Michigan State University (DVM 2014). She has been in private practice in Northern Virginia since returning to the area following graduation. Her special interests in preventative medicine, dermatology and wound care. She joined McLean Animal Hospital in March 2023. Dr. Gemmill shares her home with her husband, three young children and their senior Golden Retriever, Buckley.
